With over 15 yrs of combined construction/inspection experience, graduate of a national accredited home inspection training program, member of NACHI (National Association of Certified Home Inspectors) and on the job trained by a master certified home inspector before ever going alone you can be rest assured I'm highly trained to perform an unbiased, visual home or commercial property inspections in a state that has no active licensing requirements for home inspectors.
I will assess your home or commercial building from roof to foundation to identify safety
issues and describe the current conditions on the property. I will walk you
step-by-step through significant findings. Following the inspection, you will receive an
easy-to-read, thorough report, via email, for your records. All of my reports include photos
to help you easily and quickly identify the issue in the report. This can assist you in purchase
negotiations, warranty repairs, or when making future maintenance decisions. I encourage you to
allow time to attend at least the final portion of the inspection. This allows me to walk through
the home with you, pointing out findings and explaining elements of the report. An average
inspection take 2-3 hours on-site.
NACHI front-ends its membership requirements. My association turns down more than 1/2 the inspectors who want to join because they can't pass the entrance exam or fulfill the many membership requirements.
NACHI inspectors have to meet all the membership requirements and pass the exam before being accepted into NACHI. My association doesn't offer associate or candidate memberships (junior memberships for inspectors who have not met the requirements).
