St. Louis Thermal Scan
What to Expect
Thermographic inspection refers to the nondestructive testing of parts, materials or systems through the imaging of the thermal patterns at the object’s surface. These tools see light that is in the heat spectrum. Images on the video or film record the temperature variations of the building’s skin, ranging from white for warm regions to black for cooler areas. In the home inspection field this tool is typically used to check for insulation, electrical, energy loss and moisture issues.
