Sewer Scopes

A sewer telescope is a camera used to inspect the inside of sewer lines. It is a flexible tube with a camera on the end that is inserted into the sewer line. The camera sends images to a monitor so that the inspector can see the inside of the pipe.

A sewer inspection device can be used to look for a variety of problems, including:

  • Blockages: Blockages can be caused by a buildup of hair, grease or other materials.
  • Root ingrowth: Tree roots can grow into sewers and cause blockages.
  • Cracks: Cracks in sewer lines can cause sewage to seep into the ground.
  • Damage: damage to sewers can be caused by roots, heavy rains, or other factors.
  • Offsets: Offsets at pipe connections can lead to root intrusion and waste seepage into the yard.

Here are some other benefits of a sewer inspection:

Preventive maintenance: a sewer inspection can help identify potential problems before they lead to a major clog or leak. This can save you money on repairs in the long run.

Peace of mind: Knowing that your sewers are in good condition can give you peace of mind.
